In my setting up WordPress post I mentioned that I am copying a ping list I have into the Update Services which is located under Settings / Writing.
WordPress default ping service is “rpc.pingomatic.com”. It is recommended to add a bigger list of Ping services to your WordPress Blog as they allow you to automatically notify the blog directories and search engines that your blog has been updated with new content.

There is another way of installing WordPress manually by downloading it from WordPress.org and installing it using an FTP client. I will cover that method in a later stage as I prefer to do it through my cPanel. It find this to be easier and faster and more newbie friendly

After signing up with a hosting account our next step is to add the domain we registered.
This is very simple process and I will go over it in this post.You really don’t need to have any technical skills in order to know your way around your hosting cPanel. I know it may look pretty scary to many newbies that have no prior experience with hosting accounts, blogs and such.
